Myths vs Facts about Indigenous Rights
We, along with our Parent Involvement Committee’s Speaker Series Team, are excited to invite you to join us for the first of two* informative and engaging speaker sessions.
We invite you to join us as our first guest speaker, Professor Pam Palmater, a Mi’kmaw lawyer, professor, author, and social justice activist from Ugpi’ganjig (Eel River Bar First Nation) shares with us her knowledge and insights about Indigenous Rights.
The DDSB is committed to Indigenous rights, and we say that Indigenous Rights are distinct. Pam will explore what this means when she addresses the topic of “Myths vs Facts about Indigenous Rights”.
The session will be followed by a Q and A.
