Black Museum - Thursday February 27th, 2020

Posted On Thursday February 20, 2020

Ajax High School's Black Education Student Team would like to enthusiastically Present the second annual Black Museum.  Student and Staff are invited to attend the one hour presentation during Period 3 or 4 on Thursday February 27th 2020 in the LGI.

The Black Museum represents an acknowledgement of numerous Black Canadians.  The purpose is to recognize the past while celebrating the everyday excellence that Black minds have contributed and continue to contribute daily into the fabric of our society.  These perspectives are expressed through the different areas of Black contributions to the academic disciplines that we have chosen to represent.  It is our mission to inspire and empower all students with the power of dreaming to re-imagine the possibilities of what can be, when barriers are removed.

If you are interested in attending the Black Museum on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 during period 3 or period 4, please sign up during Lunch at the pit.  Tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.  There will be limited seating opportunities.

Thank you for supporting B.E.S.T., if you have any further questions/concerns please feel free to contact Ms. Yasodaran or Ms. Charbonneau
