This section of the OSSLT is a reading activity.  You will be presented with a passage and then a series of multiple choice questions.  As in the Real-Life Narrative passage, the multiple choice questions will be of a varied type as seen below.

Question Types

 Vertical Multiple-Choice

In this type of question, the possible answers are presented in one vertical column.  After you choose your answer it will be highlighted in blue.
 Multiple-Column Multiple Choice

In this type of question, the possible answers are presented in two vertical columns.

This question is actually 3 questions in one.  For each statement presented, you select the correct response.

This question asks you to identify the main idea of the passage that you read and to select the two ideas that support the main idea.  Drag and drop your choices into the appropriate boxes.
